Body is the TEMPLE



"Deho Devalayaha Proktho Jeevo Devo Sanaathana"

I felt it is apt to start on this adage quoted in sacred vedas.
People pays visit to all temples/sacred places spends lot of time on their piligrimages, but they ignore their very own body which itself is a temple. Dwelling more on this quote, one can derive many meanings.
"Body itself is a temple whose indweller is God Himself"
As per my understanding, since God Himself resides in this body we should give more importance to this body. keep it clean, keep it in condition and pay obesiance to this gift from God.

I would like to end this post by quoting Lord Buddha -
"Every human being is the author of his own health or disease."
